I'm not holding my breath. But when it rains I am definetly going out and doing a rain dance!

My yard is crispy. I sure would like some rain.

It's sad when your "drought tolerant" wildflowers start looking droopy. I'll be glad for this rain, if we get some. I'm sick of my brown yard too...
It was a lot cooler today. I tried to mow a neighbor's yard yesterday, and it was so hot that I would get bad headaches, and have to take frequent breaks. Eventually I stopped altogether. Today, I mowed the rest of it, without a break. It was nice; there was a small breeze too.

Hot and dry here too. I just gave up on trying to keep anything watered. Even the shrubs are crispy.

Today may be cooler, but I can't tell much difference. Too darn hot!

gld, i have'nt even tried to water anything except what was in my pots.
christie, i don't have a yard as such,but it's crunchy anyway. My pear tree leaves are turning yellow. Those poor trees got bit back by the freeze and now so dry.

Oak, it's not a nice you're getting paid for it... LOL.
The first time I mowed it, it hadn't been mowed in literally about a year. I'm surprised I didn't get arrested for destroying tallgrass prairie.
