NE PA garden tours

There are some open gardens this weedend (16th) in the Backmountain area around Dallas, PA. It's an organized thing where you buy a ticket for admission to the 6(?) gardens and possibly a few other events.

Is anyone going or has anyone ever been? I hope to make it and am always up for a local garden tour to see what everyone else is up to!

I could get more info for anyone who is interested... Dallas is just a little west of Wilkes Barre in case you are wondering.

DANG, I missed it.

This is the first day in a while I have gotten into the PA forum, and go figure the tour was today.

The tour will either inspire you with great awe, or leave you filled with overwhelming despair. Am I kidding? Uhh, well, kinda, sorta, maybe, in a way, know that I mean?

I meant to go, but no one wanted to go with me and I didn't feel like making my way up there alone (ok I know I'm whining). The the weather got hot, the humidity got high, and the things I was supposed to do Friday got pushed off onto Saturday. So I didn't make it.

Two tickets would have been $30. I made myself feel better by re-dedicating the money into my plant fund.

Gerry, I've got those Natchez crape myrtle cuttings for you. Hopefully roots will be forming soon! Did you still want a couple?
