Yes! The hot peppers I planted don't look as if they have done anything and don't have one blossom yet. The bell peppers are producing, but I'm not impressed this year. Everything else near them is doing well, so I don't think it is a water problem. I hope someone has the answer because I have been wondering the same thing.

Mine too!! This is the first year I've planted hot peppers and am really disappointed. They look healthy but are just not growing. As the previous poster said, everything else seems to be doing okay. Is it possible all this rain has stunted their growth? Hoping someone can give us an answer.

Yes, my peppers are still small in DE and I believe the blossoms might be falling off as well. Some of the bottom leaves have turned brown and are falling off. Is anyone else with stunted plants seeing this?

My peppers seem to have taken off just this week thanks to the heat. I think it's been too cold/rainy for them this year. And the tomatoes don't seem to want to ripen up either.

I have the same problem with my veggies at the Jersey shore. My tomato plants are small although they do have some tomatoes on them. They are Best Boy tomatoes and they aren't close to ripening. I think I planted them the week after Mother's Day. My peppers and eggplants haven't grown much at all. What a crazy growing season! I'm glad I am not alone!!
