help!! do my new plants have wilt?!?!?!?!

Last week, I bought a ton of plants from the local nursery. The black eyed susans were not happy when I replanted them. They were wilting by noon each day. I called the nursery and was told that they had to water them 3 times per day. They said that since the plants had lots of foilage they needed lots of water. (These plants are fully mature plants with thick lush leaves.) The nursery instructed me to water three times a day for about a week and then they wouldn't need watered as much.

It's been a week and they're always wilting. We've had some huge rainstorms and the ground is definitely wet. Their wilting improved SLIGHTLY. They aren't wilting as much but they're still wilting. No matter how much water these guys get, they wilt

So I've done some research and wonder if I bought plants that actually have wilt disease. How can I know for sure? Or would it be best for me to just remove the plants, leaves, and soil and not gamble the rest of my garden on what the nursery says?

PLEASE ADVISE!
