Wild passiflora

I am planning to make a trip to some country in south america or centralamerica next vinter.

Where is the chanses best to find passiflora in the wild?

When is the best time to go?

Does anyone know about any botanic garden or other collection I can visit in the area who grows passiflora?

I'm no expert~> Just guessing:

Passi's in the wild? I've read "along the side of the road" and "in rubble piles" are their "usual" habitat.

Our winter would be best I'd think as that's their summer & when their vines (hopefully) are in blooom.

No idea for the botanical gardens... Sorry.

Bring back as many seeds as you can and I'm sure we'll help you finance your expidition with trades & sase's.
