This may be a sport-a spontaneous genetic mutation, in which case if you cut it off and root it you may have an interesting new selection of caerulea-which you could name. However many Passiflora are very variable re leaf shape and leaf lobe number-varies from 3/5/7/9 lobes, so as it grows don't be disappointed if it reverts back to normal.

A few of mine do that as they grow- As babies they only have 1 lobe .. Then 3 or 5 or even 9 as the plant gets older.

Who knows though- Things mutate all the time. How do you think we got here?

LOL This stem is now about 2' long and is holding onto tri-pointedness, HOW DO I TAKE CUTTINGS?? I don't wanna kill it!

bend it over and nick a little of it (barely) and bury that part of the stem (its called layering, and often doesn't bother the plant).

Keep it watered and it should root at that spot.
