I am actually raking leaves now. The sad part is that they are green. I wonder if we will have good fall color with this continued dry summer? I hope we get some rain from Katrina but not the drenching downpours Florida received. We need a steady rain to help get the ground moistened deeply. What a summer! My husbands favorite season is fall and I always thought he was crazy because I hate to end my gardening but I think I will enjoy autumn this year. Watering every day is starting to get old.
