I asked around about growing passion fruit last year, but decided not to. I'm thinking about it again this year, but don't want a plant that will take over the backyard. I just found out about the "black knight" which I can plant in a container. Is it advisable for the inland empire of southern california? If I put it in a pot, I could move it to a shadier part of the yard if it gets too hot...
