We got just under 2 inches. I was a little worried when they predicted 3 to 5 inches for today. I'm glad we didn't get that much since the ground was already so soggy.
I think it's safe to put up the garden hoses until next summer. : )

beerhog, I'm with you on the rain. Let it pour.....into the rivers, lakes and ponds, soak into the ground and replenish the ground waters.

Even after all the rain we got the other day, the ground under the trees was bone dry an inch down yesterday when I dug down to plant something. Looks like the tree leaves kept it from reaching and soaking into the ground. Need more rain!

I haven't dug but assumed it would have soaked in. That hard clay just makes it run off I guess. At least the ponds are full.
