Passiflora is not even closely related to Clematis; the tag is in error. They are both flowering vines...

As far as care, full sun is best. It will likely spread through the roots, so be aware. One big question is whether it will be deciduous in your zone (i.e. dying to the ground). Others can answer this better than I can.

Well then, that settles that! lol ~ Thanks for the tips Mark. It will be getting mostly sun with a bit of afternoon dappled shade. I hope it does okay there on the trellis. The tag says it is deciduous. Full sun/part shade. Mature height 10' - 12'. I'm in zone 8b, BC

My Henryii clematis does have flowers that resemble my passion flower plant but they aren't the same type of flowering plant (the passion fruit result being one big difference!)

I only have one Clematis--and it's a new plant that hasn't bloomed yet. However from photos I've seen it also looks a lot like a Passiflora.
