We sort of dodged it, frost on the roof but it seems most plants escaped it. I covered the most tender of the ones that were not under the patio roof. I still have seeds to harvest on the purple hyacinth bean vine that I did not want to chance losing. I should be able to harvest them this weekend. On the way to work I passed a house that had hostas that took a pretty hard hit, I was surprised to seen them flat on the ground!

Hard to think of frost with the really warm temps we've been having here in Bucks,but I had to put the heat on for a while early this morning so it won't be long. So many things are brown and dried up from the drought we've been having it looks like a frost hit.

In my yard I look to the paulownias as the first sign of frost. The slightest tinge, and their leaves go black and fall the next day. Fo far, nothing down here near the Del border.

No frost here either, was concerned about leaving my brugs out, but Thank God, it didn't frost. I still have tons of blooms. Now the wind storm the other night I could have lived without. It knocked down all my pots and made a real mess. I still have tons to plant before it gets to late. I have several daylilies in pots that will get planted in there pots in a holding bed until spring. Looks like we will have another good week as far as night temps go.

I've got 20 hostas to plant yet and tons of bulbs.
We had frost warnings too. Was 35 here this morning.

No frost here in Allegheny County, thankfully. If anything, please let the earth tilt so that the eastern US coast ends up on the equator!

No frost here in Pittsburgh yet but they are calling for it later on this week. For any of you water gardeners take heed and get your tropicals brought inside. I took mine out Friday and brought them in. They just cost too much to lose them.

I saw the week's weather forecast....b'rrrrrrrrr. I am not ready for this, not at all.
