Hello all,

Have a 8 year old carelua hybrid that is quite overgrown (planted on the north side of a 7' fence and has grown up into a long trellis). The problem is that most all of the blooms are at the ends of this 30' monster and none near the base of the plant. If I cut the plant completely back to 10' (where it will still be in full sun), will it rebranch out and reinvigorate (sp?) the plant? The stems at the base of the plant are around 1" thick.
