I'm not a passi expert, but I do know that those that are members of the tacsonia supersection can't tolerate high temperatures. These passifloras grow in the Andes mountains at very high altitudes, so they're not adaped to heat. It's a shame, because they have such beautiful flowers - they usually hang down, have a tubular shape, and, in general, look like the type of flowers that hummingbirds are attracted to.
