Yep you are so right, the fig was my main squeeze, LOL. It is thriving in its pot. Next spring, I'm planning to plant it. What side of house do you think will be best?
Lost a Japanese maple last winter in that warm followed by frigid cold. Its bark exploded off it when it froze. Don't want to loose my fig.
Got an acquaintance up here in scouts, he's got pines and said I could have all the needles I can carry. Gonna mulch the brugs all the way up to protect them. Saw on the brug forum, that they can survive in Z6 if protected and that they prefer the ground over pots. Do you agree? That way maybe they'll bloom next year and not just be leafy like they were this year.
