If my hands heal enough by spring, I need to move some things, desperatly! I've planted a beautiful plume grass(cant remember name, not pampas)along a path from the drive to front entrance. Trouble is, thats where my daylilies, and peonies are also. I didnt realize this grass would spread out so, and I dont want to loose my peonies, especially. I have several different reds, a pink and white, all the fancy kinds I could find few years ago. No yellow tho-can you imagine the price on THAT one!!!
So, the grass HAS to be thinned.
My reblooming iris's havent rebloomed in years, guess they need moved too.

I have a big clump of grass that needs to be moved too. My kids wanted me to plant Zebra grass, so I did and it's huge now. I think it's going to stay where it is. Ceresone - Would it be easier to dig out a little of your grass so you'll have a couple starts and Round-up the rest? I'm sure it must be hard for you to do just anything. How frustrating.

Gld - I remember seeing solidago 'Fireworks' in the High Country Gardens catalog. Maybe you ought to move those two closer together. HCG has their Purple Dome pictured with solidago and it really stands out.
