Isn't that pretty, especially from the side. What variety is it? I'm so jealous. I still can't put my plants outside. Our highs have only been in the 40's : (

Its a tribola I got from georgiavines Its in a pot on my back porch.Its not very old got it in late january it grows huge.Not been very fussy at all just likes alot of sun.Iv Had transplant it 2 times it grows so fast.

Yep its alittle to sweet for me kind strong and the pollen is not yellow but almost white.I hand pollenated it with a plain blue didnt have nothing else blooming today.Will say this is the biggest and fastest growing passiflora I have ever seen I want another it take blasting sun all day and loves it.

Is the Fruit Edible?

This is one that was tentatively ID'd as a triloba but I'm not sure. The color is the same but is the shape of mine different? Sorry it's not the best quality photo.

Most of the blooms started to develop fruit but they all aborted when they were about the size of a grape.

Very nice. I'm hoping to get myself an alata/quadrangularis type eventually. Your success makes a great case for adding triloba to the wish list!
