I hate early frosts. I was hoping for another week or three of warmer weather but then this morning what did I see but frosted grass and icy roofs. The damage wasn't too bad, just a few mushy coleus and saggy elephant ears, but right as things were bouncing back from the hot dry summer bam..... freeze....

One good thing is that I won't feel bad pulling out the frosted annuals to plant bulbs or move perennials. Maybe it will be a nice indian summer and I can enjoy moving all the stuff I wanted to move in the spring and never got to!
