After cleaning and soaking some windmill palm seeds, I put them in a bag in the refrigerator for a month before planting them. I gave them some bottom heat (on 12 hrs, off 12 hrs) by putting the tray of seeds on top of my aquarium light. After the first week, I had about 90% germination and after 2 weeks nearly all the seeds have started sprouting. I canâÂÂt say that the time in the fridge necessarily helped, but it certainly didnâÂÂt seem to do any damage.
