Strawberries, Transplanting of

Once "asleep" many if not not all plants can be transplanted,IMO..I guess this includes strawberrys.. Is it advisable to insulate the areas, then , after the surrounding ground is frozen ,transplant the plants to new previously insulated ground..

I see that there is no separate strawberry forum...

I think very early spring transplanting is also possible..

I dunno. Strawberry runners are pretty tough to kill, and will overwinter without attaching to the soil at all, so I think this should work.

Started with 6 plants 9 years ago, now its 6 times 9 times 54.. on and on..A while back, a bird ate one,a while later he did his business next to a landscape timber, the next year I have another strawberry patch.
Some plant !
