Mine die too but I buy more. My problem is they say the plants are drought tolerant. I think they all need water. I don't know what my soil lacks that they need but they don't take off for me.

No, and I will not fall for that advertising campaign they put on those darned things again! Even when it did bloom I was totally underwhelmed with it. Can you tell I bought it more than once? I think some plants just aren't meant for the weather we have......some of the perennial geraniums fall into that category. I keep wanting to try Rozanne, but have been less than successful with others, so haven't.

Nope, don't really want to talk about that one. Dies every time I try it no matter what I do.
Just put it out of my memory and pretend I don't know what it is. lol Same thing with poppies.

Thanks all for making me feel less stupid for killing mine. Even Mobot's site says it's tolerant of heat, humidity and drought, thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. Sounds like it would be very happy here except for the drainage issue perhaps.

Now, Bonnie, poppies are another thing! At least the somniferums and orientals.

I think I still have some poppy seeds from my mix if you want any. They self-sow like crazy and look ugly pretty early in the season and you have to pull them. It is worth the trouble to have those gorgeous blooms in Spring though

I could try again.
I have said before that I have tried many times and it just seems to be one plant that I can not grow.
helen said not to use the common/cheep type.
but I have ordered seed before and tried.
Some times I get a few start to come up then die. Most of the time they just never come up to start with.
When William was talking about the blue that he was going to try last winter. I thought ok I'll try. Wrong never seen a start come u in the whole package.
If you don't mind I will try again. Thank you for the offer.
Well back to raking all that soil.
