You could always swing by Central Market and pick up a passion fruit from the produce section for about $2.50. The seeds germinate pretty quickly in my experience. They won't flower in the first year, but there's no guarantee one from a nursery would, either. And this way you get as many plants as you want.

I wouldnt grow from seed it will be years to get flowers I got mine from this guy he will send you a nice plant that will flower this year .He can be a week or 2 on shipping but the health and packing of the plant is worth the wait.

Looks like a good deal, but he's wrong about edulis var. flavicarpa regrowing from the roots. If the temperatures drop below freezing, the plant's dead. It's pretty cold hearty at any temp above that, though.

Also isnt var. flavicarpa self sterile...gotta buy two i guess
