Have heard pros and cons about this company. Since you can not plant now because of the weather have some patience and weight to see what your local companies have. Peonies are best planted in the fall not spring. Planting in fall lets the roots have a chance to receive nutrients from the soil before blooming. If you are expecting to plant this spring and have blooms in May go to your local nursery and buy a potted plant. If you plant bare root peonies this spring any blooms that are made take away the chance of survial. Fall planted peonies can and do bloom the next year if they are mature enough.

I also ended up ordering a bunch of them from BloomingBulbs and they have arrived at me door step yesterday.
Now I am all stressed out because I can't find the time to pot them up. Hope they won't die on me.
Did you get yours?
BTW, I bought some more from Walmart as well.
I think Lowes has them too now. Didn't see them in Costco or HD the last time I went there, but surely they have them as well.

Pretty much all of my peony bare roots came up. Two of them have a bud on them already. Overall, not bad for the amount of money I spent on them.

how did these work out? any issues? im curious because iplanted my 20roots a few weeks ago, so now the waiting game begins. upshot, they all are pushing up growth.so knock wood
