Just a couple more pics, then I'll lay off. I like butterflies and like to encourage the Gulf Fritilary caterpillars that munch on my passion vines. But I just wish they'd restrict themselves to the foliage and leave the flowers alone! This blossom proved to be a buffet-in-the-round for one hungry cat:

And a cat didn't even wait for this one to open before diggging in. The cross-section effect was too interesting a visual to pass up. Enjoy!
