Personally, I transfer mine when I see the strap leaf poking out of the dirt. But thats just me.

About how long does that take ?

The Robusta could be as sort as 2-4 days from when you see roots.
The CIDPs are a lil more tricky. I have about 50 of them and I took about 25 of them at a time (weekend) and of the 25, about 15 or so have the strap leaf starting. So I would look for them about a week or week and a half after you see roots to look for strap leaf.
Just to let you know what to expect, the Robusta root system is tiny tiny hairs that can grow down and out like a spider web, but the CIDP root is a very very thick like root and will need a deep pot when you pot it up.

You mentioned putting the rest of those ungerminated robusta seeds in water to see if they float
They did not they went right to the bottom they still feel hard
Do i just wait on them longer to see if they will or do you think i need to toss them out ?

I'd replant in a community pot. provide some bottom heat and give them another 30-45 days to germinate. Whatever does not germninate after 45 days, I'd trash.

Yea, I'de agree w/ op. Some are just slow. I'de throw in a community pot and kinda forget about them. See what you got in a month or so.

Well I took all the seeds out of the kit and the results were 1 robusta and 1 date palm hasa germinated in 3
weeks but i think i know why because " I suck at germinating " !

but i did notice that the seeds were deep and the soil was dry , so i got some new soil and replanted everything
just under the surface.
