I grew mine from seed... store bought fruit and it bloomed in its 2nd or 3rd year and I had zero fruit.

So last year... I took a pollen stem from a bloom on the same plant and rubbed it all over any of the open blooms... right in the center on the tip... and then it would swell up within 72 hours and you could tell the fruit set...

It seemed work pretty good... you may have already tried this.

Sorry this is thought to be a sterile hybrid..as is Sapphire. Amethystina x caerulea has been done before but should give some good offspring.

I'm pretty sure it is sterile- as I cannot get it to do anything.. However I cannot remember if I've tried it's pollen on anything- Next time one popps I'll give that a try.
Otherwise.. Just another pretty face I guess.

My sapphire is setting fruit, but I expect them to be empty, so I wou't be suprised if / when they are.
