Caerulea is somewhat marginal here, so I'm doubtful that it would survive for you. Incarnata may survive for you if it gets through the first winter or two. However, it also will depend on the provenance of your seeds. If they are from the deep south, they will likely die, but if from northern areas, they may have a chance, and will be more likely to ripen fruit. Incarnata will frequently bloom from seed in about 90 days. Keep in mind that it is a long-day bloomer, meaning it will bloom during mid-summer when days are long, but will stop blooming when days get shorter. Here in TN, they stop blooming around the first week in September, although some vines may bloom a week or two longer.

You will want to provide as much heat as possible, so planting against a south facing stone wall would be best. Plant in very well drained soil. Once the top growth dies back in autumn, cover with a thick mulch. A dark colored mulch may also help insure the plants get enough heat. In areas where incarnata vines do not get enough summer heat, they tend to be less hardy and very susceptible to root rot during cold, wet periods.
