I guess I'll be the first to say, "More info, please". Can you post a picture or three? That would help a ton. Some Passifloras are not all that safe to eat, though you probably don't have one of those. There are more still that make fruit that just don't taste very good. And to add to that, there are some that only taste good if pollinated by the right paternal parent. I'm certainly not trying to dissuade you from eating passion fruit, as some are delicious! But to be much help, I, at least, need more info...

In my opinion, the best way to post pics here is to add a link to an off-site storage facility like Picasa or Flickr. That way you can constantly update your pictures as you wish, without having to create a new post each time.

If it is P. caerulea, I'm afraid I have some bad news... the fruit doesn't have much pulp, and it's not really that tasty. Not poisonous, but not tasty. Granted, this in my experience. Someone else may have had better luck.

However, if you want to ensure that you have more fruit, pollinate it by hand. I believe caerulea is self-fruiting, but again maybe someone else will post that knows for sure.
