Crystal and I just love hybridizing, to the point of being obsessed, and now we feel partially responsible for your new addiction. Sorry.... :) Perhaps we need to start a therapy group!

This is a cross we tried last year with no success, but will try again this year when our Manta starts blooming again. (The scrub blue jays tore apart the hanging basket we had it in, nearly killing the poor plant. Thankfully, had a couple of backup plants!)

Though these two Decalobas are a bit far removed genetically, stranger things have been done successfully, so I think it is worthwhile to continue to try. P. 'Manta' does seem to have some scarce pollen, though whether it is viable or not, I have no idea. Keep trying both ways and let us know if you ever get a fruit!
