Yes it is.

Sometimes they have little gallon pots for $5 or so- that would be a better route IMO as you'll get a bigger plant faster by letting one or 2 of those grow than trying to root a bunch of cuttings- It may take those cuttings 6 months or so to get to that gallon pot size.

Lowes & Home Depot often had those gallon ones, at least around here.
