I've never tasted a passion fruit either. What do they taste like?!? What kinds have you eaten?

I ate a fruit (only got one) from my p. 'nancy garrison'-- it was my first time as well. I must say, there wasn't a whole lot, volume wise, to actually eat, but what was there was certainly worth it! Hard to describe, but somewhat citrus like, on the verge of orangey, but not totally the same. Sweet, tart, and tropical! I spread the pulp onto some breakfast crepes I'd made that morning, and that little bit went a long way, and made my morning delicious.
