I think it's P. 'Lady Margaret', which is P. miniata x P. incarnata. P. miniata used to be called P. coccinea. It sounds like maybe it can come back from the roots in your zone. Perhaps someone else knows.

I called the nursery it came from and the person I spoke with said it was a "bleeding heart passion flower," which is apparently a mistake.

They are way down in south Florida, so I assumed this was probably something that won't live through a frost. If it's a Lady Margaret, though, it certainly should.

I concur that is it indeed P. 'Lady Margaret'. Being half incarnata, it has some frost tolerance, but beware winter water. If you are in a zone like mine, (northern California), where it only rains during the winter, it will not survive without protecting the roots from wetness. If kept dry, though the tops will likely die to the grown at around 25 degrees, it should come back in mid-late spring.
