This isn't the way you're *supposed* to do it, but I will remove the anthers from a flower and brush them against the stigmas of the one I'm trying to pollenate. Of course, this has to be an unrelated plant for it to work (if it does). The "better" way is to use a fine brush to dust the pollen from the anther onto a piece of paper, which can then be stored in the refrigerator for immediate and future use. Myles Irvine has some good info at the link below, and both the readily-available passiflora books contains chapter sections on hand pollination.

I do it the same way (pick off a anther) but I never know if the plants I'm using are compatible. I get so excited when I see fruit. lol
