Leafless cuttings usually will not root, but since yours has some roots already, there is a good chance it will start to grow new shoots. Pot it up and keep it indoors under moderate light until it gets going before planting it in full sun.

I have one variety of passie that I always root with no foliage, the murucuja. For some reason whenever I take a cutting it drops all the foliage but it grows back beautifully. I've also had an edulis cutting with roots but no foliage that grew just fine.

My son, trying to be helpful, pulled the cutting out of the soil, ripping the roots off, because "sticks don't come in the house"... technically correct, but I don't think I can coax more roots out of it now.

I 've had several root without the foilage. Sometimes the few leaves that I've left on the end fall off and if I just leave it in the water it still roots and grows out new little nubs and leaves on the stem.
I sprayed some leafless sunburst stems that are in water, with spray n grow a few days ago and now they have little nubs starting on them too.

HELP! What am I doing wrong. Out of 6 cuttings I have one forsure growing on my fence....though the leaves are weepy but not bad. All my other cutting I know have brought in put some in water some in dirt. The stems look like their dying.:O((((((
Help, How should I be planting them?
