How hot and what shape?

Like a long large grilling, medium to hot pepper - maybe like 5-7 inches long ?

I have a couple of hundred seeds I took out of several peppers that I bought fresh at an Oriental market.

They were about 5 inches long. Red. Fat cayenne shaped, about 1/2 to 3/4 inches wide at the shoulders.

Some of them came to a point like cayenne, and a couple had blunt "bull noses" which actually were just the result of the tip being folded back inside the seed cavity right at the last half inch of the pod.

They were mildly hot when raw, but lost about half their heat when stirfried. They had a good, kinda sweet flavor under the mild heat.

I have not test germinated any seed, but I did wash, bleach, rinse, and float out the light seeds. I also kept the blunt-nose seed separate which probably is not important since in the entire bushel of peppers there were only a few like that.

I have no idea where they were grown, but they were in a standard produce box.

You're welcome to however many you want if you're willing to take the chance. I only plan on planting a few next spring.
