P. incarnata and p. incense should grow fine. P. edulis is grown commercially in California. Since many species originate in the tropics, you will be able to grow some that many of us in zones 8 and lower could only grow in containers. Flower colors are only limited by your imagination, as hybridizers have been busy for hundreds of years. Check out Myles Irvine's U.K. site below for galleries and descriptions of a bunch of different varietals. It's a good site for beginners to educate themselves on passiflora. There are also some good books on Amazon, but best to start online where the investment is less up font ;-)
