Sometimes P. incense and caerulea but they don't survive every winter. I've also had incarnata vines that have died out during particularly brutal winters here. I've heard that P vitifolia will come back from the roots in zone 7a but it's never survived here, even in a protected area. After losing various hardy passies during colder then average winters I now keep some in containers as a back up but I do allow them to go dormant in a minimally heated greenhouse or the garage.

I have tried P. 'Incense' years ago with no luck and I've had the same results as you for P.Caerula. I've had P. Vitifolia and coccinea croak out right after a frost. Also, some forms of P. Incarnata seem to be more hardy than others, prob. from northern parts of the range.

This year I picked up a huge Passiflora 'Inspiration' which is the same cross as P. 'Incense' minus the virus 'Incense' carries. I want to try it out next winter but not so sure it will make it. Plus this year I tried a lot of hybridizing with a few of the Incarnata crosses back onto incarnata so I'll have to see what happens in the future with that.

Caerulea survives but doesn't bloom for me (which may be due to the one I have as it didn't bloom for me in a pot either).

Incense didn't survive, though I am tempted to try with Inspiration once I root a couple out!
