over pruning

Please help! We had our sabal palms cleaned out about a month ago. One has the 7 or 8 froms that were left just hanging and brown. I believe it has been over pruned. It stands 20 or 25 feet and has been here for over 20 years. I would appreciate any input. I would hate to lose it due to over pruning. Thank you for any suggestions.

They should recover okay. Possibly the newer fronds have been burned by the sun after the others were cut away. The healthier the plants were the faster they'll put up new fronds, especially as you're coming into the growing season.
