Beautiful, but to my untrained eye, looks alot like blue crown?

I've been wanting Blue Boutique myself, but have only seem them on e-bay.

I'm pretty sure it is Caerulea.. But I've never seen blue botique, so...

I purchased my very first passiflora at Home Depot. It was labeled "incarnata", but weeks later, when the first flower opened, this is what I got:

It's Lavender Lady (I think). I also purchased a vitifolia from Home Depot. I'm not really sure whether it is coccinea or vitifolia -- it seems to have characteristics of both.

According to The Internet (which never lies...) this is 'blue boutique' (look! I spelled it right that time...lol..)

Quite a bit different from my "exactly like caerulea" above.

I do have a boutique outside somewhere from a trade- But it's still small & wont bloom untill next summer.. If all goes well.

To sort through the confusion, (or to add to it!!!) there is no such hybrid as 'Passiflora 'Blue Boutique' despite the many references to it on Google. Shows how important clearly written labels are!

The correct name is Passiflora ÂBlue Bouquet' variously credited to Rick McCain or Patrick Worley in 1989. It is thought to be either P. caerulea à P. 'Lavender Lady', or more probably
( P. amethystina x P. caerulea) x (P. amethysitna x P. caerulea) x P. caerulea.
I think your picture is correct though. and there is another one here at GK Exotics.
