Frederick is a great hybrid. The ones produced by wholesale grower LaVerne are rootings from mother plants that have been fruiting for over a decade.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I can't buy direct from LeVerne (wish I could) because they are a wholesaler and here in the area where I live we do not have any garden center who brings in LeVerne stock. So I am looking for a spring purchase of some rooted Frederick cuttings. Possibly 3 or 4.
They have to be rooted because of the time crunch with weather.
