and even after the horrible winter last year, it took over my newly redone front yard this summer!

I've saved seed pods (my plant was from a sucker that I dug up from Mother's house. SHE's had it in her yard since the mid-late 1970s, so it can take the IL winter!) but I'd also like to dig up & send a sucker or 2 to a friend in MD.

Do I just wrap the bare sucker in damp papertowel?
Wish me luck that I can still dig!
