Help! White fungus on my Incense

20 years ago

I found this yucky growth at the base of the lower stems of my Incense. It looks like little round white 'Blobs' about 1/4" diam. and raised. I wiped them out and when they got crushed it looked like pink blood, yuuuuuuuck!!!

What the heck are this things, and will they come back??

I don't think so, these are more raised and perfectly round, almost like a small beehive, but white.They seem to live off the plant and spread on stems only.

They sound like scale bugs. Try to scrape as many of them off as you can and they treat with a systemic like malathion.
