Picking green beans

This afternoon I picked greenbeans in the rain!! I too remember last year's drought and cannot gripe about the rain. It will stop soon enough and we'll be wanting it back. Also picked okra and cucumbers. Then I fixed supper and had fried green beans, pickled cucumbers and onions with dill and candied beets. ALL came from my garden and it was great!! Left a smile on my face (hubby's too). And oh yeah...I had a little talk with the tomatoes and told them to get with the program!! I think I am the only one that hasn't got a ripe tomato yet!! Wahhhh. I am also having lots of yellowing of tomato leaves. From what I am reading in this forum, I really don't have anything to worry about as long as the fruit is looking good which it does. I had one tomato rot, but it was on the ground and some of them have black spots on them like they have been stung by an insect but they are not rotting so we'll see.
