Putting Sabal Minor in the ground

I think I am going to put my Sabal in the ground tonight. The weather has broke her and the average high for the next 10 days is supposed to be in the low 70s. Lows in the high 40s-mid 50s. I've had it outside in it's pit for a few weeks so it has gotten a tast of nights near freezing. I'm going to pick up some gardening soil today. id appreciate any suggestions.

The best suggestion I can give is if you have a basement, plant it against the foundation. It will have a much better chance of survival in my opinion and will need less protection.
