Make sure not to plant it deeper than its original soil level and if you have very heavy- clay soil (and especially if you have sandy soil) you should replace the soil in your planting hole with some nice compost.
They are pretty easy to care for. Try to keep it moist but never let the water "sit there". if the water ponds under the plants trunk than the soil is not draining fast enough.
