hi yall its spring

hello you palm lovers out there Well i haven't been on here in awhile like a long time actually. So It's spring here in NM and Its a little cool still here for late April and early may. But very windy. .So I planted some Washingtonia Filleria. and its been like a month and they are sprouting and I guess they are still viable I had the seeds for a year and they are still viable. so yeah cant wait to see all your pictures and I will post some of mine once they get bigger.

Very hard winter here in the East...in terms of the sustained arctic cold and record snows. Lots of damage to broadleaved evergreens and my marginal subtropicals got wiped out (Windmills, loquats, etc). Yes, still a cool Spring.
I know they are predicting a hotter than normal West and Southwest and cooler than normal Summer everywhere else, but I don't know. Not getting a feel for the growing season yet...still recuperating from the Winter that was!
Used to be 6B, now 7A but with new extremes in both directions and sudden drought and then major FLOODING, does not add anything to the gardening repertoire.
