Windmill Palms after winterization

Hello everyone,
I have (2) 6' Windmill Palms being delivered and not sure if I should leave them in ground and protect them or put them in a very large pots (3'x3') and winterize them in my garage. The garage has a small west facing window.

Can someone comment/post pictures of what there Windmill Palm looks like after being winterized.
