What is this tropical plant?

Can anyone help me identify this plant?
I found it abandoned as garbage 3 years ago. The low light in my apartment was insufficient. The high light all year at my boyfriend's home has made it bloom and develop. It seems very sensitive to clipping or trimming.

It is an epiphetic cactus or 'jungle cactus'. Not sure of the species. Do not treat it as a desert cactus or it will suffer. Soil needs to be very airy. Use soil mix for bromeliads. They are not difficult plants. Look in part sun to partial shade. Post a pic at the Tropicals forum and/or Cacti forum. You can propagate it but cutting off a leaf and inserting it partially in slight moist sand. Nice find. I would have grabbed it too!

Epiphyllum oxypetalum, One of the largest,no THE largest epi you can grow in a home. Outdoors here in California its a fast grower and also a snail and slug magnet unfortunately .
Famous for its night blooms and fragrance. A nice find.
