zone 7A are you down on the western tip? the minors look like S. louisiana to me I would say they are id'd right. that one is very blue though may be somthing a bit defferant hard to tell. that trechy has an upright habit..seen in waggies but it looks to just be a regular trechy F. Once it puts out larger fronds if they get stiffer and stay upturned like that you might have somthing special.. hard to tell when there small.

thanks for the info miketropic, I think you are right about the minors, I guess I will just have to wait and see as far as the trachy goes, and I am in south eastern ky, depending on the zone map you look at my zip code is either 6b or 7a, but for years now we have not had temps lower that 10f at night I think maybe one year not to long agot I remember 8f. but I know it can and will probably get to 0f again in the future lol. but once again thank you for your info. Also I would love to find a containerized s.palmetto that's a few yrs old or 7-10 gallon or bigger size to try in ground? any ideas where to look? thanks again.
