I have one of those Oscillating Multifunction Power Tools.
It's a real handy piece of equipment.
But I found two new ways recently to use it.
1. Bottle rooters take note. It cuts plastic bottles like a
hot knife through butter. It's real easy to take
the top of a plastic bottle off with this thing. Takes about
10-15 seconds once you get the hang of it.
2. Pruning plumeria! I cut through some fairly thick
branches the other day without any problems. Cuts quicker
and faster than even racheting shears or loppers. It
works almost as fast as a small chain saw, but much easier
to manipulate and much, much safer.
They're available most anywhere. There's a Dremel model
that's about $100, but being the cheapskate that I am, I
got mine from Harbor Freight on sale for $15. I can buy
quite a few HF units for the cost of one Dremel.
