Haven't had any of the issues you've been experiencing unfortunately. However sometimes it makes me log in two or three times for some odd reason...

Peppernovice, threads will stay blue (unread) if you post to that thread. You will have to go back into the thread without posting for it to change color. If it is happening after opening the thread but not posting, then I don't know what would be causing that.

If your computer is clearing the cached cookies, the Thread color will re-set. Could that be it?

Sometimes after clicking return to the hot pepper forum, I have to hit refresh and then it displays correctly. But I mostly use my phone rather than a PC

I'm not sure. I haven't made any changes to my settings(Ie. clearing cookies). It used to work just like you described Bill. It just stopped all of a sudden. I think I'll try a quick re-start and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

The easiest/least expensive fix for that is to buy a highlighter and just highlight the ones you have read.

Re-start fixed it. If you're using google chrome, and you notice this issue, just do a re-start.
